B. Login / Account Information & OTP Verification

When you register or log in, we may verify your identity using a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number or email address.
OTPs are used only for authentication and are not kept longer than necessary.

C. Location Information

We may collect location information in two ways:

• Device location (only when you allow permission) — used to show nearby mandis      and relevant market information
• Shop / business / product location entered by users — retailers and mandi      owners may provide their shop or listing location to help users find them

We do not perform continuous background tracking.

D. Automatically Collected Data

We may collect:

• Device details (model, OS version, identifiers)
• App usage information
• Crash logs & diagnostic data

We do NOT access your contacts, microphone, camera, files, or photos unless you choose a feature that requires permission and you allow it.

3. Images & Media Uploads

If you upload business, product, shop, or farm images, they are stored securely and used only for platform-related purposes.
We do not access your gallery or files without permission.

4. Display of Business Contact Numbers & Listings

To help users connect, business phone numbers provided by retailers and mandi owners may be displayed publicly inside the app.

• Numbers are provided voluntarily
• Displayed only for business communication
• Users must not misuse or spam these numbers

5. Collection & Display of Shop, Business & Product Locations

The app may display shop, business, mandi, farm, or product location details provided by you.

• Shared voluntarily
• Displayed to help farmers and buyers discover services
• Removal or correction can be requested anytime

We do not sell or share location data with advertisers.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Operate the PCROP / PCROP Farm & Market mobile application
• Verify identity using OTP during login and signup
• Display business phone numbers and locations so users can connect
• Create & manage user accounts
• Help farmers discover nearby sellers & mandis
• Improve platform features
• Provide support
• Prevent fraud & misuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT sell your personal data.

7. Data Storage & Security

Your information is stored securely in MongoDB databaseswith reasonable safeguards.
No system is fully secure — please keep your credentials private.

8. Sharing of Information

We engage trusted third-party service providers to perform functions and provide services to us, such as:

• Cloud Hosting Services: (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) to store data.
• SMS/OTP Providers: To send verification codes.
• Analytics Providers: (e.g., Google Firebase, Google Analytics) to understand app usage.

10.Payments & Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription or paid service within the PCROP / PCROP Farm & Market mobile application, payment processing is handled securely by our authorised payment partners and/or app store providers.

We may collect and store limited billing-related information, such as:

• Your name or business name
• Contact details
• Subscription plan details
• Transaction reference or invoice details

We do NOT store full payment card, UPI, bank account, or wallet details on our servers.
Such details are handled directly and securely by the payment gateway or app store provider in accordance with their policies.

Subscriptions may renew automatically depending on the plan chosen. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or app store settings (where applicable). Cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically generate refunds unless otherwise stated in our Terms & Conditions or required by law.

Users may request full account and data deletion by sending an email to support@pcrop.in with the subject line 'Delete My Account'. We will process this request within 2 days.

External tools (e.g., WhatsApp, payment gateways) have their own privacy practices.

Our Service utilizes Google Maps API [or your map provider] to provide location-based services. By using our app, you agree to be bound by Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
